Can money buy our happiness? The works allude to recent social and economic studies on the relationship between financial wealth and personal happiness. The first features a selection of Western countries that have become richer but not happier; the second shows exactly the opposite with poorer countries moving towards financial security and seeing their happiness rate increase.
The original diagrams have been modified and all data was deleted, leaving only a downward slope and an upward curve. Both works question our expectations of growth and the notion of happiness linked to material possessions and money.
